Joey commenced his career in hospitality in Lebanon in his teens, where he also completed his degree in Hospitality management. Joey moved to Australia in 2015 and commenced as restaurant manager for Ribs & Burgers before moving to The Meat & Wine Co in Darling Harbour as a Supervisor. Joey progressed in operations roles and also took on a Training role across full service restaurants driving guest service excellence.
Joey led the successful opening of The Meat and Wine Co Parramatta and has continued to progress to now be the Brand Manager of the fast growing Hunter & Barrel brand.

Joey credits his personal passion and belief in the nature of what hospitality really means, from his early days and in the Lebanon market where true hospitality is key to winning the hearts of the guest.
