Emile Turqui, our State Manager for ACT has had extensive hospitality industry experience in hotels, restaurants, catering and clubs across Australia and the Middle East over the last 30 years.
Emile’s Seagrass journey began 18 years ago, where he was part of the founding team, growing from two stores to the success it is today. Emile was part of the original Meat & Wine Co Parramatta, and with his strong operational expertise, passion for delivering unforgettable moments and nurturing a positive, high-performance team culture, led him to grow successfully in a number of roles, before he opened The Meat & Wine Co Circular Quay as Restaurant Manager in 2013.
Since 2018, Emile has been Operations Manager in NSW and ACT, managing a range of Seagrass venues and brands and led many successful store openings.
Emile’s leadership fosters a compassionate, supportive and fun environment, enabling him to mentor and develop many successful Restaurant Managers and operations team members within the group.
Now as our State Manager for ACT, Emile leads our teams across both Meat & Wine Co and Hunter & Barrel brands, consistently building and driving our people to offer exceptional dining and service to the Canberra market.
